Here in Queensland, most trees don't loose their leaves in winter. There are a few around that do - mostly Northern Hemisphere species. There's one at the local school where I sometimes take my kids to kick a soccer ball or play cricket during the weekend. I noticed this one against a cloudy sky and decided that I need to take the photo. It looks somewhat skeletal in appearance.
